Honor event at The Commons

The Commons

This versatile space is a great spot to study, exercise, attend one of the many events, or just hang out in the lounge. There’s even a convenience store where you can buy snacks and other essentials.

It's on the west side of campus — at the crossroads where old meets new.

The Commons is a central hub where the 1920s-era Florida East Coast Railway buildings (now the FEC Residence Halls) connect with Abare Hall.

The Dock

Just a few steps from Abare Hall on the banks of the Sebastian River is an idyllic little spot for relaxing on the water.

To Saints, it's known simply as The Dock.

Complete with a kayak launch (plus kayaks), it’s also perfect for outings like fishing and yoga at sunset.

The Dock also serves as a site for research.

Fire pits in the Commons building

Fire Pits

It may surprise you, but Florida can get a little chilly sometimes, mostly on winter nights. That's why we built fire pits: to help you enjoy the outdoors year-round. Our designated fire pit areas were built to help you to enjoy the outdoors year-round.

Ponce Mezzanine

The Ponce Mezzanine is widely thought to be one of the most beautiful places on campus for studying.

Plus, you’re only steps away from the dining hall, making for an easy commute when it’s time for a lunch break.

Pool & West Lawn

Located next to Ponce DeLeon Hall, the resort-style main swimming pool is a central spot for enjoying a dip, relaxing, or studying. While you’re there, spike a ball or two over the volleyball net on the West Lawn. Or, simply sprawl out and chill.

Sink into one of the comfy bean bag chairs and watch some cable TV. Take on all challengers in the rec room, complete with pool tables, ping pong, video games, and more.

Or grab a bite at The Bistro, where you’ll find favorites like The Kookaburra, Chick-fil-A, and many other tasty options.

It’s no wonder why the Ringhaver Student Center is the main gathering place for the campus community.
